No worries from this end.

Had them once that were a bit rare, maybe just a bit too much reality. After that we cooked them A bit crispier & all was good.

Battered & fried.

Had a client that would throw a few nuts on the branding pot. Let them sizzle a while and then pop them open with his pocket knife and eat them. I think they're lots better with a good batter and deep fried.

I've never tried them. One of brothers used to get them and fry them up. My brother in law fries some from time to time too.

Love em. I hauled a bull to the packing house for a buddy yesterday. I asked him if he was keeping the testicles. He said he wasnโ€™t so I asked if I could have them. I canโ€™t wait to fry them up!
Growing up, we ate tongue, heart, liver, and the testicles.

Calf fries! My wife asked what they were made of when we found them on a buffet in Lawton, OK years ago. The waitress didn't hold back despite having a couple of young kids and some elderly present. It was awkward to say the least.

I avoided them for years and when I finally tried them I was kind of pleasantly surprised at how good they are. Also people around here will eat rooster fries, they are very good.

Very few bull calves get cut here.
Most get banded, some crimped.
Guess a few are using the drill thing and twisting them off.

A bar in N. Vernon, In. would serve them up for free as long as you were drinking. Also, turkey nuts. Deep fried of course. Make you bottom jaw beat your brains out.

I've never had the Rocky Mountain variety but when we were hunting in Newfoundland we got introduced to "Moose Fries".
Also in our camp were a father & son from Arkansas. The father lived near a chicken processing plant as told us how much he liked Rooster Fries. He said he would take the nuts off the first bull moos that was shot and make us a batch of moose fries. The outfitter's wife was our cook and she wasn't too sure she wanted him bringing those into her kitchen but she let him anyway. He fixed us up a batch and passed them around for everyone to sample. Not bad but I thought they had a weird mushy texture. I'm one & done on those things.

Wag more, bark less.

The freedoms we surrender today will be the freedoms our grandchildren will never know existed.

The men who wrote the Second Amendment didn't just finish a hunting trip, they just finished liberating a nation.
