Free range hunts in far west Texas and southwest Tx for low fence and no fence Trophy Aoudad. We hunt several different large private ranches all varying
in terrain, access, lodging, etc. Our guided hunts are very high success rate hunts with plenty of references available from recent going back to 14 years ago.
No hidden fees or sneaky add ons. License/tag are over the counter.

September through early November for Fall rut hunts and late December through about mid March is when we hunt them. We set strict numbers that we take off
of each property to keep success rates high.

WTHO Fall 2023/Early 2024 Remaining Aoudad Openings

DIY for 1 Person early to mid September Van Horn Lower Ranch. $2995


Alpine North & South Ranches Open for 1 to 2 people at a time Guided for several hunts this Fall through early 2024.
North very rugged and minimal roads. South more roads, will still need to do some hiking. Lodging & Meals. Expect 30" to 36" rams on this hunt.
$5995 to $6295 Each

Devils River #1 for 2 to 6 People in September into early October. 2x1 Guided with meals & lodging. $5,495 Each
High Aoudad population. Trophy quality is a hair lower average than our other guided ranches but this is still a great hunt. Expect 28"-30" rams for this hunt.

Hueco 1 to 4 maybe 5 people. Preferably parties of 2 to 4 to book. 1x1 or 2x1 guided with meals and lodging. $5,495 Each
High desert mountainous property with plenty of roads and trails. Good property for someone wanting a high desert aoudad hunt without all of the hiking involved.
Several openings from September to mid November and early 2024. Semi guided is an option for groups of 3 to 4 possibly 5 people for $4800 each.

4D North Ranch 3 spots open for this fall only. Only 2 rams taken off of the ranch in over 2 years so minimal pressure. Only hunt offered this season. Physically challenging hunt in far west Texas. Would prefer to do all 3 rams at one time if possible. 1 guide to 3 hunters $5,495 each with meals and lodging- on this option you help pack out your animal, 4 day hunt. Or 2 guides with 3 hunters $5,495 each with meals and lodging for a 3 day hunt. For those who have been to this ranch before the ranch house has had a good bit of work to it along with wifi installed, more roads and ranch improvements.

How does aoudad fare for the freezer, Are they worth eating?

Pretty good when made into sausage, jerky, or slow cooked and broken down but not to just cut a steak and grill it. The meat is pretty tough.

The last picture of the 3 guys holding their rams, can you tell us what they measured?

4D North Ranch physically challenging hunt where the majority of the hunt will be done on foot hiking and glassing on a large mesa in far west Texas. Only a couple of hunts are done here and this ranch
has just been opened back up to the public for Aoudad hunting this year. 1 to 2 spots are available for an early winter hunt in the December/January time frame. Fully guided with meals and lodging is $5,895 Each.
Would consider a hunt without meals at a slightly reduced rate. Ranch has minimal pressure and is a property we have hunted for over 15 years.
A combo mule deer Aoudad hunt is an option if the hunt is done in December and if we have availability.

Sierra Blanca Guided Only. 1 Spot for October 26-28 or 27-29. 1x1 guided with meals & lodging for $5895. Very big far west Texas ranch with some of the highest peaks in the state on the property. Some driving and glassing + hiking.

Yes I do, I can do it on my Devils River #1 property with a group of 2 to 4 hunters booking. I can work with you if you are booking as a single just depending on the dates.
