Yep owned quite a few over the years but stick to Zippers now. You’d probably be good with either length with the shorter draw length, but I highly recommend the two piece. I felt like they needed the additional mass weight of the bow bolt and a bow quiver to reach their full potential. Exceptional hunting bow, I had Dan build me a two piece #54 from Black and White ebony I never should have sold.
The black and white ebony risers I've seen are incredible!
I'd thought about doing just a one pc to keep cost and weight down, but I totally understand that the bow can be too light. Maybe a micarta based one pc would suffice.
My longbow is Osage/Bamboo and a feather weight. It's 68" and due to it's construction, a strap on quiver really doesn't work that well. The ILF bow is 58" and much easier to shoot - the quiver works well on it, too. But I really like long bows and would like to move up to a custom.
Thanks for the feed back, guys.
