Either my old sportered Swedish Ma user I have had over 35 yrs or my JM Marlin 45/70 Guide Gun. Handgun would be my Gold Cup totally built by Nowlin 30 odd years ago.

WOW…..a loaded question! For hunting, hands down my .375AI which has been an “only child” since 1990.
Other firearms…..can’t pick only one! memtb

Model 70 Classic stainless BOSS with a Leupold Vari-X III in 2.5-8. Heavy but accurate and utterly reliable. Does everything well. Last one I’ll part with.

In one sense and like others here, the fave would be the one I am carrying on the hunt.
The one with which I would last part would be the Chilean Mauser 95 in 7x57 that was the first "hunting" rifle owned. It enabled me to work through the entire military-to-sporting rifle conversion process, enabled me to learn a lot from the ground up, and took the first deer. Lot of rifle moments and experiences following that.

Hard call. For rifles it would be a toss up between the KS Mountain 300 H&H or the model 70 400 Whelen.
Shotguns not sure on that. Two of them have my current favor. A Jackson 20 bore SxS that weighs 5 pounds 4 ounces and an Ithaca 37S 16 gauge IC.
Handguns are even a tougher call. Depends on the day but generally come back around to a Mountain Gun 41 mag or a Turnbull Bisley 45 Colt or a Lipsey Bisley 44 Special. A 624 is gaining ground though.
Rimfires is easy. My Dad’s Winchester 67. Still love to shoot that old single shot.
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

Kaboku68: Tough one - but I guess my favorite is an all original, low 4 digit, mint condition, pre-64 Winchester Model 70, Bull Gun, in "300 Magnum" (300 H&H Magnum) - with the stunningly beautiful bone charcoal bluing! Long live the Riflemans Rifle. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

You know that you can be here almost 20 years and learn more about people by their favorite guns than almost anything else.
