Don't want to let this go other than in Alaska. Hassles are lessened.
1997 Remington 700 in 416 Rem Mag. All built by Remington. HSPrecision stock, irons, barrel band up front. R.E.M. mounted bases and rings. 22" bbl. Holds 3 down. Includes Leupie Vari X lll 1.5x5 glass. 1 box factory w/Swift AFrame, 1 box factory w/Barnes solids. Ove 100 pieces once-fired brass, full box Barnes X 350 grn, 25ea. 400 grn Partitions, and 30 loaded rounds w/ Partitions (I'd pull them...not loaded by me) and a set of dies. Will add 1 lb. Reloader 15 and 100 Fed Match 250 magnum primers just because.
$1,250 takes it all. Will also trade for silver. PM's please, gents. Pictures coming.

I think that’s a deal that was meant for Jeff!
Excellent price for the full meal deal.

MAYBE........Why is it called Fort Kenai? In the summer of 1869 there was a military post of the United States here called Fort Kenai, and by this name Kenai, a native name, the place is now known. A post built by the Western Union Telegraph Expedition. Abandoned because the winter was too cold.
ALASKA is a "HARD COUNTRY for OLDMEN". (But if you live it wide'ass open, balls'to the wall, the pedal floored, full throttle, it is a delightful place, to finally just sit-back and savor those memories while sipping Tequila).

Ok. I give up. Trying to balance the pictures between using a flip phone, an iPad and not having a real computer sucks to navigate the posting forum, let alone attaching to the thread. Managed to get one picture on the pic gallery, so that can be looked at. Will try and bribe Ironbender tomorrow...

Pretty hard to tell from the thumbnail but is that perhaps a safari ks? I’m not aware of a 1997 “all built by Remington” 416 that used an HS stock. The sights, band, barrel length, green stock, and capacity are all consistent with a safari ks.
Hell of a deal if so.

416 Rem Mag ... The best belted magnum cartridge to ever exist, followed by the 340 Wby & 8mm Rem Mag
I'd grab it but stuck in Fartstanks 'till summer

Hell of a deal if so. Date stamp looks like RO. Rem's site suggests July 1997 I believe. It does appear to be a Safari ks model, though it has a grey stock rather than a green.

I thought of using Ft Greely as my address but Fort Greely was on Kodiak Island during WWII. I didn't want to confuse folks!
