troublesom1, it's 'cus you done don't make none mistiques (grin).

Actually, I feel like a school teacher again. I thought it funny that DFC started commenting on other folks spelling/grammatical errors when he made so friggin' many.

In this case, I was poking some fun in the direction of our newly found lurker friend, mazter. I felt the need to point out what a bad example he was setting for any children reading this thread .

As your a sharp guy, I'm guessing you "got" that, but I thought I'd explain it anyway for the challenged....

Actually, I think this whole thread would make for good reading for anyone in 7th grade or older. A great example of how not to behave in public. And at that age, it's not like they've never heard cussing before. And this way they can learn just how ill mannered it sounds. It also reminds me of a saying I came up with in my 20s. "I must be an adult now, cause it sure seems like my parents are acting like children"

This topic is like the Jerry Springer show, everyone is behaving badly, you feel guilty for watching it, but you just have to wonder what's going to happen next. Then you get disgusted with yourself after a couple minutes and change channels.

Off to my regular programming,
Scott

I think that I have behaved in at least an 8th grade level throughout this entire thread. You must be referring to these other guys.

Scott, I think you're taking this just a little too seriously.

Ah, what the hell. We're so close to 1000 posts on this thread we might as well keep going. Anyone want to swop their house/ranch/collectible car for a set of 243 dies? (Will need written appraisal from your attorney/bank first)

My house proubably isn't worth that much. Where's Frankie? He'd bet you $100k, my house isn't worth that much. Must have crawled back under his rock, or out drowning kittens, or something. Where ever he is I'm quite sure he's behaving badly.

I was sorely tempted to try and keep the original wager alive, solely over the possible substantial donation to the NRA ...

How about this as an alternative -- whoever makes the 1000th post, has to give $100 to the NRA.

That, or we can bet on my weight.

Hell, John, I tried to get the NRA a grand when he said I didn't have the money to cover the bet in my checking account, but he slithered off of that hook. Not betting me is one thing, not paying the NRA would make him look like .....well, since we have become so language sensitive around here, I'll let the adults fill in the blanks.

Don't try subtle humor with Mazter.

Hmmmmmmm, LMFAO????? Sure didn't take you long to join the ranks of those you were so critical of. Even us influential 7th graders know the difference between LMAO and LMFAO. Because you don't spell it out, is it any different? Didn't think so

I've been resisting the urge to read this thread but finally gave in. It's almost like a sickness. I've got a feeling that this thread won't be going away any time soon.

I didn't back out of anything! I did everything I said I would. Everyone here knows what a coward you are. You didn't do the FIRST thing you said you would! You didn't have the balls, to even go to the lawyer you specified, to look at the agreement, so you could put up or shut up. I would hate to have to walk a mile in your shoes, always looking back to see who's catching up. You have been caught. Your friends know what you are. I have worked hard all my life to not be like you, a coward, liar and cheat. What a piece of sh:t you are.

Au contraire, buffalo breath, I said from the first hint that if you were stupid enough to think that I was stupid enough to believe you, that I wasn't going anywhere with this bet until you paid for part of the expenses of drawing up a contract. In all your shrill pronouncements, the onlookers overlooked that cogent detail. You never did send any money to Mr. Davis, probably never sent any to anyone, never would, and there was no bet, ever. However, when it looked like someone would take you up on it anyway, you ran like a dog, which is what you were going to do the whole time.

For those who don't seem to have a clue about gambling, here is elementary school betting lesson 1. If A says he did something and B says he didn't, if they are men of their word or true gamblers (who almost always pay off, amazingly to those on the outside)and they bet, then A proves it, B pays or A doesn't prove it, and B wins.

However, in this case, B was not a man of his word, and what would have happened, A (moi) would have put out time and money to draw a contract up and put the money up, which, ipso facto, proves that I did what I claimed and B would not sign it. No bet and I'm out the money. I may be stupid but I'm not as stupid as D(umb)F(**king)C(hit) thinks I am. BTW, since you have backed out completely now, everyone still wants to see your "document", post it, I hereby release you from any liability for any information in there related to me that is accurate. Now, on to a 1000.

I thought you said you had read the whole thread, obviously your reading comprehension skills are not on as high a par as you thought.

BTW, I am poor by some standards, I'm on a pension. But I have the love of my family, a roof over my head and food on my plate when I am hungry. In that I am quite wealthy, thank you very much!
