Rabbit season is over. It’s time to try to sell my Husqvarna 12 ga Model 20 under lever, hammer gun again. Here is what I had my gunsmith do to modernize her:
-bump out the chambers to 2 3/4” (it came with 2 1/2”) she is safe to use modern with 2 3/4” rounds -taken down, cleaned and lubed -had the butt stock glassed in (as a precaution) -honed the chokes to Improved and Modified (it came Full and Xfull)
Bores are mirror. Blue is maybe 60%. Stock is solid with weak finish. Has original steel butt plate. She is tight on face and locks up very solidly. I used her to kill a mountain of rabbits and was not afraid to carry her into the nasty, NC cutovers.

I wish I was in Texas. I’d be seriously chasing some hogs with my recurve bow. I need the practice since I’m booked to hunt moose with it in 2024 in Newfoundland. (Don’t ask me twice I might just show up at your door!)😂
No, sorry, I am not. I tried this back in January. I got lots of interest, just not in NC. The idea of going through the trouble of shipping a gun that sells for $400 just doesn’t seem worth the effort!
