The worst one I worked for proudly announced the following in a meeting. "There's a reason I'm single." Her qualification was she was the company founders daughter.

I worked for a gorgeous PhD in EE. She was 100% anti gun liberal. I was not an employee, but a contractor. She had the power to fire me on the spot. If I said "V=IR" she would yawn. She could not troubleshoot a circuit. She must have got the PhD for being pretty. I never said anything political, and never fought with her. She fought with other liberals over control. We went out to dinner with a vendor and she got dead drunk.
If I google "nicknames for Karen" her name is there.

I’ve had a Karen for a boss, but he wasn’t a woman. Not many women in technical positions. I did have a woman who worked for me. She was a good, not great, engineer. That was the only interview I ever conducted where the CEO called me up afterwards and wanted to know how it went - hint hint.
Yours in Liberty,

I might could say I worked with a Male Karen
Dude was a German/American, big time democrap, socialist tendencies. Obama lover big time. Sickening.
Would start arguments with co workers, contractors, developers, other consultants. Rabid political shît always.
Blah blah blah, Americans and their gas guzzlers…Grrmans all ride the trains and buses or walk. Germans all live in apt buildings. None of that farm, subdivision space wasting sprawl. Germans eat out at outdoor cafes and walk to and from dinner, oh boy. Exciting
Germans have national leagues of soccer and everyone gets 2 months vacations
Everyone wanted to choke his eyeballs out

Everyone wanted to choke his eyeballs out Pard, The male counterpart to the "Karen" stereotype is often referred to as a "Ken". The term "Ken" is used to describe a man who exhibits entitled, obnoxious, and often aggressive behavior, particularly towards customer service workers, but the term is not as widely used as "Karen"
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

I have had a "Karen" for a boss. You asking has brought back memories that I thought I had suppressed. I'm going back to look for "Have you ever..." threads to get my blood pressure under control.

Never had a female boss..... except for Rattlesnake. That should be certain sufficient - for two lifetimes. Pard, It sounds like you are saying that working for a boss who exhibits "Karen" behavior would not be desirable or fulfilling, and that you would prefer to avoid such a situation for the rest of your working life. It's understandable to want to work in a positive and supportive environment, with bosses who are fair, respectful, and professional. If you have had negative experiences with difficult or problematic bosses in the past, it's important to take the time to reflect on what you value in a work environment and what kind of boss would be a good fit for you. When job searching or considering new opportunities, it's also a good idea to research the company culture and management style to get a sense of what to expect. You can also ask questions during the interview process to gauge the manager's communication style, leadership approach, and expectations for their employees. This can help you make an informed decision about whether the job and the boss would be a good fit for you.
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

no but i had a faaaag for a boss. before i quit. Pard, It sounds like you had a negative experience with your former boss, who happened to be gay. It's important to remember that a person's sexual orientation does not determine their ability to be a good or bad boss. If you had issues with your former boss, it's important to try to identify the specific behaviors or actions that were problematic and address them directly, rather than attributing them to their sexual orientation. It's also important to remember that discrimination based on sexual orientation is illegal and can lead to serious consequences for the employer. If you are uncomfortable working with a boss who is openly gay, it may be best to consider other job opportunities where you can work with someone who aligns more closely with your personal values and beliefs. However, it's important to approach this decision in a respectful and professional manner, and to avoid making assumptions or stereotypes about people based on their sexual orientation.

One bosses wife, who by default became another boss.
Told I have a bad attitude.
My response was yeah, if I showed up for work a couple days every two months I'd be pretty happy.
Round two. Was told she could offer some ideas on how to be more efficient with the route.
My response to start out was to tell her to get behind the wheel and show me how to do it. She obviously had no CDL and had never driven a truck.

The only female boss ever was the supervising instructor during my required "student teaching" as a college senior. Fortunately, she was a lovely person and a fabulous boss/teacher. Tall black lady with high expectations, strong discipline a slightly hidden heart of gold. She pressed me quite a bit and I learned more about teaching excellence that semester than I had in the previous college experiences. Thanks Mary Lee.
Once graduated and into the career, the first boss (principal) had a small man napoleonic attitude - he was a pain and a distraction. The next two bosses (principals on next jobs ) were fine men but hardly knew what I was doing, and left me alone.
After those 10 years, never again had a boss as such (some by title only) so got to set the course and fly right. Yes, after a while was hired by Boards of Directors - different arrangement. All in all throughout, the females were as good/bad as the guys.

No - that lecture was wasted superfluousness - your assumption is not at all what I was saying. It simply was a joking remark to a buddy.

One who was a big snoopy idiot. She was in the next room and overheard me say to my buddy I had to take our old beagle to the vet for bladder problems. The next thing we knew she was in the doorway saying her husband had the same problem until the doc gave him a certain med I should try. I said I was talking about my dog and she spent 2 months trying to get us fired.

I had a female boss for a couple years, late in my career. We were both at executive level. She was fine to work for.

I have always tried to be the Karen. It's so much easier that way.
