I have an old, non opti-center weaver shotgun scope. I'd like to keep it centered and vintage.

The Weave V8 is the only Weaver that I recall that didn't have internal adjustments. If you could find a V8, you could repurpose the rear ring assembly, but how well it would work is outside the scope of my experience.

The V1 shotgun scope is adjustable. The cross hair moves to the sides and such as you adjust it. It becomes quite noticable. Windage rings would help. Old steel would look better.

Vintage Leupold "Adjusto-mount". I believe that is what they were called. I used them for years on my M 70. Sold the rifle and still have the mounts/rings. I should probably put them in the classifieds...

Those above, are, I think, what I am stuck with. They don't look vintage.

I used Millets on 22-250 for decades and they never moved.

The weaver ring off the V-8 would require that remove the ocular bell as the rear weaver ring isn't split. I use Leupold standard mounts with the windage adjustable base, it is the only one I can make fine adjustments with. Both the Millet and the Weaver had too much spring in them for me. Balvar 8 in Leupold standard rings and bases they are the only ones to give me good windage and I shim for elevation, it works well.
