Our cattle used to suffer from it occasional.

That was one of my favorite things to do, range roping infected cattle and putting pinkeye powder in their eyes. We also shot a lot of Combiotic into full sized bulls with a syringe that held 50cc's of medicine and the needle was sharpened on a rock that we would find nearby to help penetrate their hide. Man, how I miss those days of working range cattle...

What is the disease called when a cow's eye looks like a telescope, protruding out of the eye socket? I forgot what it's called, maybe some form of cancer?

I used to get it about once a year. I haven't had it in many years now, though. I don't miss it.

There are 2 kinds. One bacterial and on is a virus. I had the bacterial one about 6 or 7 years ago. ONe day my eye started itching. Of course the tendency is to scratch it. By the end of the day folks were asking me what was wrong with my eye. I went to the doc and he gave me a prescription for some anti-bacterial eye drops. In about 3 days it was gone.

Doctoring for Pinkeye, getting Foxtails out of their eyes and popping out cattle grubs . The ranch I worked on was part of an Ag program to develop a pour on systemic insecticide.

This is mainly about pinkeye in filthy old people and children

Those two groups that don’t practice proper hygiene and like to hug each other and stick their fingers in their ass cracks often

Both of my son’s caught it on a vacation once to the Jersey shore. They were 3 and 5 I think.
