Those old boxes are cool and make a nice (never ending) collection.

Thanks I looked it up and it seems to be that 50's 60's time, won't shoot it but kind of neat.

It's not old enough to be real collectable now . I'd shoot it and save the best box for display.

I'd shoot that, even hunt with that. Have done so with similar aged ammo with no problems as long as it was stored in good conditions like it seems those were.

I may not use them on a “once in a lifetime” guided hunt…..but, wouldn’t hesitate on something less important! And as said…..keep the boxes! 😉 memtb

I bet they will work fine and be very accurate. I have shot older ones than those and worked great.

They will work fine... shoot away. with price of todays ammo, most old stuff has no collectable value $$ wise. Boxes are neat to look at though.

I'm old enough now to still view ammo of that vintage as being "modern". I routinely just shoot stuff like that without giving "collectibility" a second thought. Geez, if the ammo collectors got a look at my rimfire ammo shelf and saw the old stuff that I just fritter away at steel and tin cans they would have a collective heart attack! You know what, I don't care. Besides, every box of collectible ammo I piss away just makes that box gathering dust on a collector's shelf that much more valuable - they should actually thank me!

Same here nothing more satisfying than going out shooting a nice buck with a 50 -60 year or older gun and ammo. Retro hunting at it's best. Mb

Those will have “real” Core Lokt bullets, not the plain cup ‘n core fakes they sold later.
Now you need a 725, 740, or 760 to burn them up with🤔
What fresh Hell is this?

I am a sucker for old ammunition, boxes (if they contain ammunition) and bullets at gun shows.

I have kept some old boxes. Didn’t know they were worth $’s.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally
