I looked through a 3-9 lately and was impressed with the optics and the adjustment knobs had nice positive clicks but I thought the scope a blocky (think Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40) and the Huron is little heavier than I prefer.....Good Luck in your decision...Hb

Huh. It's a well made scope for non dialers, but the eye relief is just a touch short. I tried to make one work on a long action and it was just a wee bit shy of optimal. On a rail or on a short action it would work fine.

I thought optical quality was good, but the eye relief is a non-starter. Spend a few bucks more and get the Credo

I have two Credo HXs. The 2.5-10 is kind of an anvil, but nice to look through. Currently idle, it’s probably going back on my Howa Mini .223.
The 1-6 is just about perfect on my Grendel for the Eastern woods.
What fresh Hell is this?

I did not notice the Huron as having particularly short eye relief like the specs say and the eyebox was pretty good, not Leupold good but better than most.....Hb

I have one of these on a 6.5 Grendel and love it! Have loaned out that rig a bit and even had someone fall down hard right on the scope… head shot a doe at 163yds later that same day… took a licking and kept on ticking!

I put one on my 10/22 and it fit right in with my Accupower’s, Credo and Accupoint with clarity and eye relief. Mines a 1-4 with mil dots or something, I used it out to 200 yards and find it a very nice scope if illumination is not needed.
