Just received my first aftermarket AR Trigger. I got the LaRue MBT 2S. I'll post a range report when I get to shoot with it.
It came with a copy of the Constitution of United States in the package. I loved that.

I, of course, have a copy but I will be glad to have this handy to give to a Constitutionally Challenged person I might run into.

Just thought that was neat.

They toss in stuff. You pay for it one way or the other. Its cool. Like the sniper bumper stickers. But I'd rather save money. LOL

I buy pocket Constitutions by the box and give them out every year on Constitution day. MBT-2S is a fantastic trigger for $75

They are great triggers, and I have the pocket Constitution I received from them in my cabinet beside me right now....

I hae sometimes thought about rounding the edges of a MBT 2S trigger face, make it a little less "flat faced" and more like a Mil-Spec. Anyone else have that opinion?

I'd just get a RR before I'd do that, but it's your trigger, rock on!

That's a great price. Where are you finding them at $75?

Never thought about rounding the edges, but I agree with the "flat faced" part.

per 3 IIRC. Thats usually how I buy AR triggers. 2 or 3 minimum.

I have a fair number of the LR now. I can't say that I can feel any difference between them and RRA and would go whichever is cheapest these days.

But you obviously know we haven't shot competition since 2004 and may not be tuned up well enough to tell the differences.

I did get an order of flat faced ones a while back. I might like those even better possibly.

My best friend's son was trying to build an AR-15 "on the cheap" last fall. He bought a $249 PSA upper (it honestly wasn't that bad) but he didn't know enough to know that it didn't come with a BCG or CH. That is all he had bought at that time since "dad" had a lower to give him. The lower was a very nice one, CMT Tactical ambi billet lower but completely stripped. Poor goober kid had no idea all the parts needed to make an actual rifle. I took pity on him and bought a BCG and CH during the Black Friday sales along with a Magpul stock, grip, etc. I had history with a RRA trigger from 20 years ago so I bought one of those when they were on sale. Fast forward a few months - kid and his friends went shooting at a friend's farm one weekend. Kid called me Monday and asked "what trigger is in my AR, it is awesome - so much better than all my friends. Everybody loved it." Those RRA triggers are still really good. It was a toss up between it and the Larue MBT-2S. I actually tried both of them and gave the one I liked less to the kid. The Larue won, but barely.

I never told the kid I spent $350+ building out his "cheap" AR, and that didn't include the $200 lower his dad donated. He's like my nephew...

One thing about the LaRue's flat face is that it enforces good trigger finger placement. Helps one to remember not to "drag wood".

I only buy one rifle at a time, so I only buy 1 trigger when I need it. I also don't intend to buy anymore AR's. Just sold one of my AR10's. Armalite AR10T that I didn't have a use for. The last AR I bought was probably 2 years ago. I still have a POS BCM trigger that I need to get rid of. When I see the price of a Larue MBT2S, it is generally $88.00 plus shipping: Not hardly "$75", especially when you throw in shipping. Where did the guy see them at $75? That was the question..
