I’m trying to help a friend of mine. He just purchased a 30/30 for himself and then hand down to his grandson at some point. Having an issue finding ammo for it so thought I would check here. If anyone knows were I can find some loaded factory please let me know.

I t is starting to become more available. I have seen "fresh" Winchester and Federal stuff on the shelves at a few different places. It just isn't $9.99 a box anymore.
I am always looking for factory wood stocks!

Walmarts here have rem, fed, and win available for around 26 to 28 a box.
Don't know about your area.

This all good info so folks know where to find 30-30 if their LGS doesn't have it. I think the issue for the OP is location and finding someone that can ship ammo to "great state" of NY.

Not sure where you are upstate, but 2 LGS near me (Fulton Co) have 30-30 ammo. But it runs close to $35 per box.
