Picked up a taped box of bullets at a local gunshow, handwritten "250 Sav" on the box, and a tag saying "40 pieces" on the side.

Expected to find partial box of 100gr, but on opening it there's a full 50 and they weigh in at 87gr. Pretty happy for a $15 snag.

Are they Remingtons, though? Don't think I ever have had old Remington 87gr bullets to reload.

Yup, way back when I bought a box of 100 Remington 87 grains. They were extremely accurate. Have never seen them since.

Indeed yes, Remingtpns. My Old Man used to load them, and I think I have some of his leftovers stashed somewhere. Where, I don't know.....
