What is your favorite Jackknife?

This is my Outdoor Edge Fish N' Bone Jackknife.

Does a great job on Big Game when you are doing detailed work on deboning deer, moose, or elk and does a standup job, and makes quick work on fish like walleye.

I like it because it weighs basically nothing and is very compact. I wear it on my belt and when it comes to getting all of your meat off your big game, it leaves little behind with its very flexible and razor-sharp blade.

Just used mine today to trim a back strap and last night to fillet a trout.

Great little knife and they don't cost much.

For an everyday pocket knife, ( I guess that's what we're talking here), I picked up a 3" folding knife at Wal-Mart in the spring of 2016. One of their "Ozark Trails" branded items. Although it doesn't say anything on the knife itself, but it says that on the small sheath it came with that I never use. Has a clip on it and it rides around clipped inside my right front jeans pocket everyday. After 7 years I gotta say I like it, and it originally cost just under 10 bucks including tax. So if it gets lost there's no big loss although I'm now kind of attached to it. My only complaint is that it won't keep an edge as long as some of my higher quality knives but I have a sharpener. My better quality stuff is what gets used for field dressing deer and stuff like that. For an everyday knife that I carry in my pocket this is the only one I use.

Buck 313. But mine is in a sheath. They have a habit of sliding out of your pocket.

Carbon steel GEC jumbo trapper for me. I have two of them. Also an old yellow Camillus jumbo I’ve taken apart a train car load of critters with. [Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]

Mine is my Swiss Army knife, ‘Tinker’ model w/ Phillips head screwdriver. I've carried one for decades and admitted it was a better tool than a knife. I’ve changed my mind now after what happened 2 weekends ago.
While snowmachining in the Thorofare area of Wyoming I came across 5 wolves feeding on a large bull elk in ‘a’ river. I went in there and they moved off and I took the elks head off with the smallest blade on the knife, the large blade was as dull as a butter knife, as usual. If I knew how to post pictures I’d show ya. A large 6x6, got a permit and took it home.

Don't know that favourite is the correct term, but this one is generally in my pocket and I use the small blade most of the time.

Wind in my hair, Sun on my face, I gazed at the wide open spaces, And I was at home.
