I was up early the morning after the shooting of 9 people at Umpqua Comm College in Roseburg, and went up there to watch all the news reporting, to see what they would say. Everyone who was reporting,( minus the few reporting in a foreign language which I didn't understand what they were saying ) would make a report and then wait to hear back from their home offices if they were satisfied with the report.

I even watched the Fox Team. Watch the reporter ( female) report what firearms the police reported what the shooter had... they didn't like that, so they wanted more. Reporter was told to change from having a shotgun and pistol, to add an AR 15 to what he carried... then after that, they wanted the shotgun ( which he had) deleted and add an AK 47, with a report of having extra high capacity mags and also add high capacity mags for the AR, then after than report, told the reporter to add a couple of extra pistols, with high capacity mags and more ammo...

They finally told the reporter that the 5 or 6th revision was what they wanted to report to the public. Being a former member of the military, I can tell you there are few folks that could carry all the equipment and ammo in a couple of bags the shooter was supposedly carrying... We are talking way over 200 pounds and probably closer to 300 lbs.

Hard to be mobile with that much stuff to haul with you...

That is the only live broadcast I have seen actually while it was being made... and the other major and local networks were pretty much doing the same thing... So I don't believe anything I see reported on any new network, especially on something politically involved such as this...
