The company that makes these sabots (for .30 cal rifles) recommends bullet weights of 50-60 grains only for best accuracy, but I was wondering if these sabots could safely seat and allow the use of heavier and longer bullets like the 77 grain tkm so long as pressures were kept within saami standards?

Does anyone here have any experience with such a thing?

I know accuracy will be awful btw, such loads would just be for close range fun, not for any sort of practical use.

It probably has to do with the twist rate.

Don't expect accuracy to be awful, might be though.
