Congratulations on the new Ruger #1's. I have four so it's a rifle I'm fond of. I have a pair of .303 British falling-block single-shots & I really like them both. They already have dropped the #1. There hasn't been any new production in the last few years.

Lipseys DID do the last ones but that was three years ago or so. Jason Cloessner has said maybe this year we might see some again....

Congratulations on the new #1"s. I'd like to find one in 280AI myself. I have 7 ranging from 250 Savage to 405 Win and have used the action for three builds. Recently added two Browning B78's. A single shot is just classy.

Nice looking rifle, one in 303 would be cool. My collecting of No1s had always been based on availability and price. If it came available and the price was right, I bought it. lol. I currently have a 243, 257 Roberts, 270 win, 416 Rigby and a 458 WM. I think a varmint caliber would be the next....if it came available at good price.
A bowhunter at heart but a gun guy at soul. I'll take craftsmanship, wood and blue steel over plastic and composite any day.
