I've seen it happen a few times, but this one happened March 23rd on the 118 frwy. in Los Angeles. Tossed the car what looks like 10' in the air. LinkPhil Wrong section.... sorry

Saw a guy smashed like a bug on a windshield on the 210 in Duarte one time. The tire also got a family of 4 in an mini van but it was a sideswipe with no injuries.

Saw a guy smashed like a bug on a windshield on the 210 in Duarte one time. The tire also got a family of 4 in an mini van but it was a sideswipe with no injuries. Well now that's interesting.. I was in a 1960 GMC Apache 10 Travel-All westbound on the 210 in Azusa when a tire flew over the median and landed on the right/front corner of the hood of the truck. Same event? Would have been early 80s

Would have been early 80s No, 1988 or so and about 5 miles west of there and eastbound.

I hit three 2 foot pine trees in a hurricane here going 55 mph .I saw the first one go in the air like a javelin it brought two more with it .I pulled as far left as I could without going off the highway. IT seemed like a 45 second car wash going through all the limbs. WRECKER driver said it was a miracle i.livef.It knocked out my windshield and tore up my hood and top in 2002 blazer .My angels were watching after Me again
