Looking for a friend who’s on the hunt for a River 77RL in 257 Roberts.
Earlier tang safety variation.
High to mint and original condition sought.
Pic below for reference.

Please private message me with what you have or if you know of one available.

Thank you!

I don’t blame you. I screwed up big time when I sold mine.

Yes, the RL and RLS Ruger ultralight carbines have become something of collector items now. I've had a few, in 308, 30-06, 270, etc. I should have kept them :-(

I once upon a time owned them all. Including the 22-250 and 7mm-08 and even the early laminate stock variations in 7mm-08 and 270.

I’ve since sold them, but keep getting the itch for another 257 RL.

Thanks,

I've seen that one on there for a while. I know they've gone up a bit over the years... but that one is about double what its worth, in my opinion.

I snagged one a few years back. Love it and not for sale. Also have one in 308, also not for sale.
A little bedding does a lot for holding zero from session to session and accuracy.

Got one in 30-06 and for some reason it's the rifle I grab most when deer hunting.

Many many moons ago, probably 1988, I bought an RL at Billy Fred’s in Amarillo, TX. They had both a 243 and a 257 Roberts sitting side by side. I always regretted not getting the Bob.

Nice little rifles.
