Anyone every used these for hunting whitetails?

I was going through my stash and found a box of these in the back of a drawer. I evidently got them as part of a package deal at some point since I don't generally buy match bullets. Per the description at Midway, they are good for deer and antelope size game, but I thought I'd see if anyone around here had any experience with them before I bother loading them. Use would be sub-180lb whitetails from a 280 Rem or 7mmx57. Most of my shots are 200-400yds, rarely closer or further.

I remember Stick recalling shooting those as a cheaper standby in 7mm-08, but this thread was probably 20 years ago.

I believe that Midway incorrectly applied the description for the 145gr spitzer boat tail (#1628) bullet to the 145gr HPBT match bullet (#1631). My Speer manual states that the Match bullets are not intended for hunting. It says the same thing on the Speer website: https://www.speer.com/19-1631.html

Never heard of any of it. Hint.

Though in fairness,I've never seen either bounce offa Critter, but I was probably doing it "wrong". Funnier than fhuqk, that TAINT needs all the help she can get, with a single 100 count box of bullets, setting at her trembling finger tips. Hint.

Fhuqking LAUGHING!.................

I've killed deer with a 222 shooting 52 gr match hp bullets, all one shot kills, so connect some dots and read between some lines if you'd like. I also shoot the 7mm Speer 145 btsp bullet in my 284's and 7 mag and they are magical.

Between these sets of experiences I wouldn't worry.
