I was having "events". I.E. a bbq is a burn event. Trip to town is a post-automotive era conveyance event. Lots of medical events happen. Why do we have to call ever damn thing an event? Is it still an event if it's not memorable?

Gunna have an event yourself this weekend?

True enough.

True enough.

Next time at least throw up a target and rifle pic, then say you are having a shooting event. That would suffice.

Lord, I hope not!
My events seem to mostly involve broken parts!
Some involve my body!

That's something that seems to happen to all of us, event-ually.

People have become so vain.

Guess I first noticed it with kids birthday parties.

Now, it's everything.
Everything they do, has to be bigger and better. Our grandparents had to
keep up with the Jones'. Today folks run past them, trying to impress
the Rockefellers. On a credit card budget!🤣🤣🤣

Someday I'm gonna go on vacation with 2 co-workers.

We go somewhere for a week and enjoy it.
Despite rain, traffic jams, crowds........

These guys take a day trip and it's orgasmic.
A week's vacation is "Perfect". The weather was perfect, the people they encountered
were nice. And fascinating! No airport issues, no traffic issues....

Some of it is what you focus on, but in reality it's just trying to pump everything up
to a level of Fantastical, that doesn't exist.

Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
