Anyone live near Kahoka MO? A friend tipped me off on several hundred rounds of 250 brass going cheap. I forgot about it and logged in with only 18 minutes left. I bid twice and got it. Just looked at the invoice, now I see why it went cheap, they don't have any shipping. Address is 375 South Johnson. If anyone could pick it up, I'll hook you up. I'll pay up today and tell them to relist the item for me if no one is in the area. Thanks.

I'd beg them to drop it in a priority mail flat-rate box and mail it. That's nice and simple for them - and you!

Yeah anyway! Why wouldn't they do that?

Joe, ya shoulda gotten a lifetime supply of .250 brass from Steve's estate. I got a plentiful amount and still a sh*t ton of it went to Redding's.

I never saw any. I got a lot of 25-35. Sandy was giving me too much crap so I left.

Joe, I am familiar with that auction. It was frustrating not being able to bid on that stuff. I am in Missouri, but I am about 3 1/2 hours from Kahoka. I attended the gun auction on Saturday and purchased a few things. The gun auction was the opposite - no internet bidding, no absentee bids; live in person only. I have never heard of an auction company doing things the way the did. I did not ask why, but a suspect the reason is a lack of manpower.

With only a few minutes left when I logged on, I didn't read the terms, and it was clearly stated. When I got the invoice it said something like "DON'T EVEN ASK"! I'll ask, but? I might also ask if they can give me the name of the "runner up" and make a deal with him?

That sucks when dealing with hard heads like that. Do they not know that "digital mail order" is the new norm in American life? I hope someone steps up who is local enough to them to pick the stuff up for you and drop it into a USPS mailer. Buy them a "virtual/digital lunch and a beer" for helping you out!

All's well that ends well. The clerk was very nice. I asked if i sent UPS to pick it up, would they put it in a box. She had to check with the boss, but said no problem. Just wait a couple days because they are busy.
