I want a Ruger single action chambered for the .25-20!
Heck! I'd like just about anything chambered for the .25-20. I'd prolly even take a broom stick bored to .25-20!

I traded a Winchester 67A and a ‘Benjamin’ for a Savage 23B in 25/20 Win and two recent manufacture boxes of Winchester 25-20 50 round boxes of ammo.
I later realized the good ‘deal’ was the ammo!
Rifle is accurate!

that was a good trade. the ammo alone is worth the price of admission.

CPA Rifles stocks David Mos 25-20 bullet molds. Measure your twist rate then call Gail.

If you’re going to be in the New Braunfels area 29-30 April, I’m running a Schuetzen match on the New Braunfels Schuetzen Verein range. Centerfires with lead bullets @ 200 yards and 22LR @ 100 yards. ASSRA rules. RR2241TX at gmail.com for details.

Is this a public or private range?

New Braunfels Schuetzen Verein is a private club but the Texas Single Shot Rifle Association match is open to all shooters.

I inherited an 1892 Winchester saddle ring carbine in 25-20 that my grandfather bought new in 22 or 23. It’# in good condition. I haven’t shot it but bought a box of shells and passed it on to my son. He had some of his senior pictures taken with it. A true heirloom. I did buy a set of dies the other day that I found

I know 2 who have the 25-20, original Winchester and newer Marlin (my brother) i reload for my friend and my brother reloads his own. Nice old cartridge. Current issue is finding the Ammo and getting 25-20 brass.
Good luck

I have a Win, model 92 in 25-20. I load and shoot both cast & jacket loads. I have had a mold for years and it shoots them very well.

My rifle is not a show piece but a Montana ranch rifle. Well used but taken care of.

I have a Marlin 1894CL in 25-20. With a Weaver K-2.5. I load the Remington 86gr JFP and 80gr cast bullets.
This is a great calibre for small game. Will stop a squirrel with a body shot but doesn't tare them up.
I don't hot rod the 25-20, I duplicate the original loads.

I have a Remington model 25 pump in 25-20, great little rifle and fun to shoot. I shot the running boar match with it and did well.

Just for clarification for those who may not be aware, the .25-20 referenced in the OP is probably a .25-20 SS as opposed to.25-20 WCF that (I assume) everyone has in mind.

My son and I have taken to necking down Starline .32-20 brass. I think the .25-20 is a great little cartridge.
