All kinds of people don't understand what sour mash means and is/isn't.
Some people think beer and ale are different. Some people even think that they taste different.

Companies embark on million dollar advertising campaigns believing that those millions will return many more millions in increased sales or good will.
Six moths or so later if that is not the case and sales drop off the cliff maybe the firm will alter course.
If a lot more queers take up the product than Old Farts like us abandon it... Well you get the picture.
The market place will answer. If Jack is riding high on the backs of queers in six months to a year you think they will go back to embracing the Bait and Bullitt Crowd? Not likely.

G, I hate to break it to you but Jim Beam, although a wonderful booze, is in fact sour mash. Well, they say you're never too old to learn something..... It seems the piillars of the earth just shook. Ive been drinking Beam since 1969. "Is Jim Beam a Sour Mash? Jim Beam is an original Kentucky bourbon. And yes, it is made using the sour mash process. This beverage is definitely considered a sour mash bourbon, though it’s just marketed as bourbon." https://www.upthirst.com/sour-mash-vs-bourbon/So no wonder I've been feeling fuzzy lately. What the hey! Fcukme if I can't take a joke! ya! GWB

I once was told I was not a Man because I do not drink by a member of this forum.
He gave me a bud light and I politely declined.
Maybe just maybe I am more of a man than he thought after watching all of this Woke Carp going on today. Whether one abstains or not is not the measure of a man, IMHO, rather it is the content of his character. https://www.artofmanliness.com/character/advice/quotes-about-manliness/ya! GWB Dude .. Not likely. You really have no clue. These are international conglomerates. Where one company fails or falters the other companies, owned by this conglomerate, makes up the loss. The conglomerate realizes an overall aggregate of profit or loss but each individual company - you'll get fired if your company doesn't realize the profit as well.
The head of Jack is responsible for being profitable. Losses are acceptable in the short term but never long term, even if the parent company is making money via aggregation of revenue across multiple op-co's.
As the head of Jack or whatever - they're putting their careers on the line by green lighting the ad spend and tone. Being known as the CEO that lost money at Jack isn't likely to get you another cush job at an equivalent. You might get a job at an upstart looking to grow but you'll not get one at a peer - likely.
At least that's what it was like when I worked for one company as part of a larger holding company/conglomerate that's 23.4 times LARGER than Brown-Forman.

I have had similar experience at a large Publishing House I once worked for. We were one company in a family of companies owned by the Mother Ship. I personally worked directly for three CEO's that didn't make their "numbers". They were let go with "Golden Parachutes". I was next in line but quit to start my own publishing company. Now no one can fire me. But, no Golden Parachute.

The drag queens are actively recruiting grade schools in the news. But the teachers are transitioning kids in preschool! Babylon Bee may make jokes about 7 year olds, but around here it is 4 year olds coming home with a new name tag.

Started my drinking career with Jim Beam, moved to Jack Daniels after a few years then settled down with George Dickel. Finished off the last bottle of that and haven't had a drink in quite a long spell. Prefer spending my jingle on arms rather than liquor.
I am..........disturbed.

There are reasons why the Liberal Fruit Salad that comprises the Demonrat party are making so much progress, and have so much influence.
They have made themselves heard! Over and over, very loudly. If something offends them, they attack. Using money and media as weapons.
We don't have much media, but we have money.
This is our moment. To win, or lose! This isn't a defeat, it is our best opportunity in years. To fight back! It's time to learn about these conglomerate enemies, and punish them!
And it's pathetically easy. Buy products from folks who don't oppose us. If you can find any that support Traditional America, support them.
As these groups stand up against us, they do us a favor. In two ways.
First, we know who they are. Second, in punishing them, we gain strength!
But some of you Bitches still watch the NFL. And will buy Queer Beer and Whiskey.
That's why they win and we continue to lose. Our side can't even change brands to make a statement.
Destroying your already purchased stuff is retarded unless you have a Kid Rock type of platform. No one gives a Flying Fu'k! Instead, go buy a case of something not rainbow affiliated. Then finish you Jack srash.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

Cigarettes and booze are 2 things that those that are addicted to or dependent on will not take a moral stance by boycotting! They might talk a big game but at the end of the day they’ll buy the cigarettes and booze that they always buy even if it means that by doing so they themselves are transformed into transgendered homos. 😂
There will be nothing more than the grinding of teeth and bold statements thrown around.
Smokers and boozers are not going to give up their guilty pleasures in exchange for taking a “STAND” against the immorality of the current marketing campaign by their favorite booze companies. 😂
Casual drinkers might switch brands but they are not the “target audience”…

I'd rather drink some stuff the local hipsters brew anyway.
I did an equity investment with one several years ago to help get them off the ground. They are hipsters, but are capitalists, so they get what it means to build (or lose) a business venture.
