Who can help inform me on this shotgun. I sold my 20g OU awhile back and have regretted it often. Saw this SKB in a store today and it fit like a glove, but I am not a SKB guru. It has a lil embellishment on reciever and decent wood. What's a good value for this gun with box and chokes?

They are fantastic guns. Not familiar with that model but maybe $1000 to $1500 range?

If that is a Japanese model, those have been very good shotguns with excellent internals.. I've had (and used) SKBs for decades and I've rarely had an issue with any of them.

I had one in 28 gauge. It was a nice gun, except for one thing. The safety was REALLY gritty and catchy. At first I thought it wouldn't be such a big thing and would wear in. It didn't. I spent hours working the safety on and off, and switching between top barrel and bottom barrel. It was where you would miss shots because you couldn't get the safety off. After that it didn't seem like such a worthwhile gun, and went down the road. That was a sample of one. But it turned me off towards them.

Five minutes to remove the buttstock, fix the safety and replace the stock....well, maybe seven minutes...
