There ought to be a law against stealing. Or maybe enforce the ones that we have.

Guys and Gals you need to invest in a GOOD gun safe. Stop the kick the door in and steal valuables in a very quick bit. A gun safe is a very good investment. The price a good gun can be spent on a gun safe and stop this crap. You make it easy for the thieves.

This was in an out building at my home. Just picked up 2 handguns Friday night. I have always had a loaded shotgun and handgun there just in case just like I do in my house garage
Very suspicious even sheriff acts like
Im99.9% sure I locked the walk-in door
No one comes to our house except a neighbor was there Friday and walked in my shed. I am cordial to him but don’t trust him. Sheriff says can’t do anything unless we get a print or some other proof
Took all my Milwaukee batteries but no tools
Left 30 loaded ar mags though

Damned! I can’t stand a thief! Hopefully they were able to get some prints. Make sure you get the serial numbers to the sheriff so they can at least be entered into NCIC as stolen. From what you have said about the neighbor, he sounds like a suspect or at least someone that he knows.

Sheriff Bubba sounds like he needs to retire and let someone with a little ambition get involved. Lots can be done without fingerprints.

Yes will have all but one serial number by 8 am
The thief took a high dollar Airgun which has no serial number but will be difficult use if u don’t know pcp guns
All my Milwaukee batteries but only the leaf blowers no other tools
All my 15rd mags for the glocks some were the law enforcement ones
I’m so po right now I am on lockdown so I do t do something dumb
Should I post serial numbers here or just in private?

Make sure when you get a gun safe don’t keep it anywhere near a torch. My buddy’s brother did and some meth heads used his torch to cut into his safe. My buddy keeps his torch locked in his safe now.

I have a safe these were out side in garage. 2 have always been there for security purposes the new ones I just picked up Friday evening, had company coming so just those out there just for a night I thought and Honestly we are in what was called a safe place but [bleep] people and everyone wonders why I hate people

You one of my extra leaf blowers. You think your neighbor is to blame? Sounds like there is a component of “convenient timing” especially if you normally keep it locked and he was just there Friday. Is his house close to yours?

My insurance guy told me of a client of his who had a large safe full of very expensive rifles and shotguns. He lived in North West Iowa by the way.

When he was on vacation and the house was vacant thieves broke in, wrapped chains around the fellow’s safe. Puked the safe up the stairs from his basement damaging door ways and stairs as the safe came out of the house. They loaded the safe up and drove away.

At the time he was telling me this, they had not been caught.
