Steve, your above generalization is absurd. Chlordane is a no go. It was banned because of persistence in the environment. That is why it was so good as an insecticide.
works for me, chlordane is a go for me, had termites in around my one farm house underneath the concrete back porch. previous owner had bait stations put around the house, not one hit on bait for 3 years, bought the house and first spring i had the house, swarming mites, previous owner said they swarmed there 2 years in the row even with being treated. I took a 55 gallon barrel, rigged it up for air pressure feed and went to work, quart of chloradane, and 50 gallon of water and that took care of problem, haven't seen a swarm in 20 years, JOB DONE
