works for me, chlordane is a go for me, had termites in around my one farm house underneath the concrete back porch. previous owner had bait stations put around the house, not one hit on bait for 3 years, bought the house and first spring i had the house, swarming mites, previous owner said they swarmed there 2 years in the row even with being treated. I took a 55 gallon barrel, rigged it up for air pressure feed and went to work, quart of chloradane, and 50 gallon of water and that took care of problem, haven't seen a swarm in 20 years, JOB DONE

There's little doubt in my mind that if I were to go pokin' around some of the barns on these old places here I'd find some DDT.

Maybe even some Zyklon.

If you think you have termites then don't cheap it, her a professional treatment to be sure. There is no telling how many are under the ground.

Side note: I was termite hunting yesterday. Took a bucket and hatchet in the woods to check deadfall. I have 3 week old chicks and I always feed baby chicks termites when I can find them. Love watching the chicks feeding on them.

Right after Katrina, you couldn't buy a bag of mulch that wasn't full of those retarded termites you guys have down there.

I never used mulch anywhere

Went back today with borax and ants have destroyed the nest and killed the termites.
