I believe it's one of the most important cases being heard. Has anyone dug into the weeds of these two bills?

If you work 40 hrs/wk: at 5% inflation and after 5 years, you need a 28% pay raise or to work 44 more hours (*one full extra week* per month+) to make up the difference.

These two bills are needed to shut down TikTok and other social media outlets that the Government can’t control and/or threaten.
The first thing a corrupt Government must do is take over all sources of information. They had no problem with Google, Twitter, FB, YouTube etc. following orders, or else.
TikTok is exempt from US Government and Deep State control, therefor it must be silenced ans eliminated.
That’s the sole purpose of these bills.

Anytime our Government uses the term or phrase, To protect National Security, consider it either a lie, or a way of covering up yheir own illegal unconstitutional actions.

They just need to get rid of TikTok as it is a Chinese surveillance operation. It needs to be shut down just like foreign ownership, among other operations, of US land needs to be shutdown.

Touchy situation here. There's no doubt that Tiktok is a purveyor of Maoist propaganda, but we do have the 1st Amendment that has been interpreted as protecting the most scurrilous speech.
