Love them, picked up a new one about 10 years ago, ran across an older unconverted last year and picked it up. Lots of fun.

Should have bought a stainless shopkeeper when you could find them and they were in the 500 range. They arent anymore.

In the very early 70's I worked in a country hardware/gun store in my home town.
A fella came in with a pristine Win model 70 in 30-06 and Weaver K4 scope.

He wanted to buy the little Bearcat we had in the store and the '06 was his trading stock. The owner gave him $50 credit for the rifle and the guy had to cough up an additional $4 to seal the deal!

I was aghast at the robbery I was witness to, but didn't dare say a word...

They're a nice little handgun, but the adjustable sights and roll out cylinder on my SW 63 make the choice a no brainer for me.

Figure I’d update, cool little piece, can’t imagine a better Trapline or woods grouse killer.

I have a cross draw El Paso. Adj sight SS. Fun gun and has taken countless grouse and varmints. Really like the S&W 63 and 317

Never owned a bearcat, but always sorta yearned to. Have shot 3 of them that I remember. All older models with fixed sights. None were tack drivers but one was a pretty fair plinking pistol.

I'd still sorta like to own one, but I don't see a practical application. LCR or S&W j frame for the win.

I have a stainless Bearcat with adjustable sights. Smallest 22 revolver I can own with it not being “Prohibited” status. Because of Trudeau, we now can’t buy any handguns.
