Sometimes, something has to be done by a man with a code, that he knows others wont understand or support, and likely will end in his death or impoverishment, or both.
None of that matters, because the thing has to be done, or else the code is null and void, and he becomes that which he has always despised most, a man with no absolute moral basis, who will do anything to die old in his bed, at the cost of anything and everything that made him a man, that allowed him to look in the mirror without being disgusted by the figure looking back at him.
To such a man, all the mewings of the subjugated mean less than nothing. A lion does not concern itself with the opinions of cattle, after all.
