When I left Washington in 2002 I had a CC permit. We were in Alaska for 20 years and now are in Idaho. I have CC permits in both those states. From what I understand Washington does not honor either.
Without digressing into a political Donnybrook over the current state of affairs in Washington, can anyone tell me what is required for a non resident to get a CC permit in Washington. My mom still lives there so we travel about once a month to Walla Walla to see her and my wife has frequent doctors appointments in Clarkston. I’d like to carry concealed while we are there. Legally.
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

In Whitman County where I live you just go to the Sheriffs office and go through the background check, just like a WA resident.

You can take the class to get the Idaho Enhanced Carry that makes you good to carry in WA. There is a class next month on the 6th at the Lewis and Clark sportmans range in Lapwei. I took it last year and it was $160. Kind of expensive just to be able to exercise your Constitutional Rights in WA, but there it is. Still better than Oregon who recognizes NO-ONES but their own. PM me if you need more info on the class.

Check this out....https://www.handgunlaw.us/states/idaho.pdf
Looks like WA recognizes both the regular & enhanced Idaho permits.
