Yes I’ve had it a few times, but don’t have much to compare it to, although both times I’ve been to NOLA, the boudin I had while there wasn’t as good as the stuff that was shipped out here from Bourques. My old boss is from LA, and would place an order and include me in on it. He swears it’s the best made….

Yeah, you need to get west of NOLA to get the good boudin. Think along the lines of Lafayette, Scott, Milton, Maurice, Eunice, Ville Platte.

Had some great avocados here, lately too !

Did a pulled pork, from frozen, in the instapot;

We were supposed to host Orthodox Easter dinner last night but our friends invited 5 more guests so we trucked it all to their bigger place.

I was running on 2 hours sleep as I'd gotten home from midnight mass at 4:30 am then got up at 6:30 to run a table at a gun show.

Did rack of lamb, leg of lamb, Caesar and Slavyanka made Pashka (Easter bread) and a chicken and pineapple salad.  My friend's wife did beef shashlik, Olivier salad, brined herring, Shuba, Holodiets and all kinds of hors d'oeuvres.

The rack of lamb was spectacular.  First time doing it and it will go into the rotation at home as a rack is the perfect size for three hungry people.
