Thanks, I know they were dedicated barrels as is my 12 gauge 101 (mod/full), but they did have different barrel configurations. Jim
Duh guess I missed it on the end of the box where it was a pigeon grade “skeet” model🤷♂️🤦

The Jap 101's were fantastic! made in Japan by Winchester Olin Kodensha. Fine guns and have lived up to their reputation.

It is hard for me to see the butt plate on my phone. Is the Winchester logo on the butt plate or is it plain checkered? If it is plain any idea when Winchester transitioned to Winchester logo on the butt plates for their 101’s or have they always been without Winchester logo?

That is a non-Winchester logo butt plate just as it should be to configuration. This gun is original to specifications As New, un-altered, unmolested in any way. I do not know the answer to your question as to when Winchester may have transitioned butt plates. Thanks for looking.
