OP yar Campfire Tracker Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 6,262 Likes: 1 wherever the deer are	Selling this Mauser 98 build in 270 Winchester. 24 inch med weight barrel with beautiful bore. Mashburn custom trigger that breaks like glass. Hinged floor plate. Gorgeous stock that is well inletted . Weaver 4x with standard crosshairs . Package weighs 9 lbs 4 oz as shown. The barrel had a rear sight at one time but the holes are filled with screws. I don’t know the build history on this one but I am leaning towards it may have originaly been built by Sedgley. It has the circled s stamping under the barrel that my other Sedgley’s have amoung some other similarities. I know Sedgley would build some rifles with 98 action that customers supplied . Somewhere along the line someone added the scope mount and hindged floorplate and the Mashburn trigger. That’s my educated guess. Overall the rifle is in very nice shape. I will be leaving for vacation Saturday and returning the following Saturday. So the rifle won’t be able to be shipped until I return. $625.00 shipped as pictured with scope shipped in the lower 48 from non FFL to FFL.
