Love my 44 Specials, especially the 24s and 624s. TC, congrats on the new pistola. Love those Lew Horton's! I was torn between a 3" and 4". In the end I settled on 4.

A guy would be hard pressed to tell his wife she had too many shoes after showing off that set…… but they just seem so much more practical.
I used to only shoot shotguns and rimfires, then I made the mistake of getting a subscription to handloader.......

I just picked it up this week. I added the grips, put a little red paint on the front sight and I'm calling it good. I've never owned a. 44 SPL before. I'm really looking forward to shooting this one. That is a beautiful gun, no doubt.

Thanks...
Would love to own some nice stag grips.
I'm also interested in the wooden grips shown with the holstered revolver. Laminate? Who made them???

Really nice setup - really like the .44 special (for me I much prefer it over the .44 mag in 95% of the applications I’d use it for). PennDog

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

Nice. I traded into this one here some time ago. The Culina grips came with it. I bought this one with box and stuff back in 2002 when they could be had for $400.

Really like the look of stainless with those grips. I love 44 Sp. but mine is old school. 1962 Colt SAA, just as it came from the factory. , Shoots great, and has that classic look.

You’ll love that revolver!
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

I recently got a 624, 4” also. I haven’t shot mine much yet. I’ve been working on a 44 spec. Bisley 4 5/8”. Mine doesn’t have the grips yours does. Those look outstanding! Really does set it off. Post up when you shoot it.

Love my 44 Specials, especially the 24s and 624s. TC, congrats on the new pistola. That is a very nice and practical collection of shooting irons. I have been playing some with some .44 Special 200 grain wadcutters, and it reminds me of what a great, mild mannered cartridge it can be, when fed properly.
