After 8 days I'm home from the hospital Last Thursday I traveled 3 hours North to have Open Heart Surgery for a leaking Aortic valve regurgitating at 63%. My surgeon sawed me open and installed a 25mm St Jude mechanical aortic heart valve into my already existing synthetic aortic root graft that was installed during emergency OHS six plus years ago after I found out I was living with a 7.3 cm aortic aneurysm. BP is getting on track INR is in range My chest is solid and I can already side sleep and lay flat on my back! The real star is my wife.
