Starting a new thread on TX1’s so as not to get the others off track.
Have a 20” on the way. Will be my first experience with Tikka. Understand these have an 11mm dovetail which I’ve dealt with on some CZ’s.
Considering the DIP options but before ordering hoped to get some thoughts from real experience. My current scope options are 30mm SWFA’s, Arken’s and 1” Leupold, Weaver.

I assume you mean DIP?
My T1x wears an area 419 rail, just because it’s what was in stock.

I have a 25 MOA DIP rail on mine with a 12x swfa. I’ve shot mine out to 400yds and didn’t run out of elevation dial. The only thing I’m not crazy about with the DIP rail is the mounting screws. They say torque at 7-8 in/lbs. We shot a match in the rain and I disassembled my rifle for a good wipe down and broke 2 of the 4 screws on the rail. I ordered a new set of 6-48’s and cut them down to length after that.
When I die I hope I don't start voting democrat.

I have the Burris Signature rings on mine, they attach directly to the exisiting dovetail, if you are using it like most 22's are used (out to 100 yds or so) then they will work great. If you are long range shooting then you need to consider if you need a rail with slope built into it or a scope with a great degree of elevation built into it. To me adding a rail is like adding another link in a chain, it may be the weakest point.

I used Sportsmatch rings on mine. More than happy with them.

Using a SWFA SS 10x42 in T1x specific 30mm Talley lightweights.
Assuming your sight in doesn't use too much vertical adjustment - and the Talleys are pretty dead on to start with - you have 30 mils total of elevation to play with; 20 to dial with 10 more etched on the reticle. Sighted in at 100 yards, a high velocity .22 will use somewhere around 17 mils to get out to 400 yards, 21 mils if you use standard velocity. You can get out to 200 yards with around 5 or 6 mils so you can just use the reticle hash marks.
You can also use the Talleys made for a T3x, same hole spacing, but they hang out over the edge a bit. I was impatient so used those until my T1x rings arrived.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

I’m running a T1x with 30moa area 419 rail with a swfa 6x in SwfA low rings. I’ve run it out to 400 so far and should have enough adjustment for 500 and more if I want.

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I went Talley as a first pass. I hope they don't crack like others I've seen.

Thanks for all the replies and advice. I have PMed the person advertising the Area 419. Thanks. Considering the Tally and Burris option too. Good to have choices with the 11mm rail Tikka uses.

i went Mountain Tactical 30 MOA extended 1913,because I couldn't find more inclination in stock. EVERYTHING blow zero,is 100% fhuqking WORTHLESS. Hint. Chop what isn't requisite. Hint. Thank me later. Just sayin'. Hint................

I have a zero MOA mountain tactical since my scope mount has 20 moa inclination. It works fine but I had to trim the two rear mounting screws since they were two long. I had a 30 MOA Area 419 rail beforehand but it didn't work with my current scope mount and I could zero the rifle at 50m.

The 6x and 10x MQ's aboard concentric barreled actions, will happily digest 75MOA of inclinaton and yield a 50yd zero. Hint. Doing thusly, tends to yield 40 Mil's of erector travel, for a 50 Mil Long Range delivery mechanism, which is 700yds+ in my current atmosphere. Hint. Hint.................

Rob With that 30 moa rail you can really stretch that tikka out. I sure don’t regret running a rail/SwfA rings on mine. If you run a fixed SwfA the erector travel is ridiculous for a 22. Perfect combo in my opinion. I’m using a 50 yd zero too.

Got the AREA 419 30 MOA from the advertiser here in the classifieds. Thanks again for alerting me here about the ad. Hope to have it in hand soon. Will have the rifle this week. Have a SS 10x and a set of SS low rings NIB and ready to go. Looking forward to putting it all together and doing some shooting. Variety of ammo to try including the TAC22 on its way from Shaw Arms. If it works out as planned will be perfect time of year for me. I’ll post some pics here once I spend some time shooting.

DIP rail w 0 deg. Burris XTR signature rings. You can then adjust to the max travel of your optic using the inserts.
I used to only shoot shotguns and rimfires, then I made the mistake of getting a subscription to handloader.......
