This thermal has never cost me a coyote, and there hasn't been a coyote yet that would have been any deader with a more expensive unit. I have both also. The SH does better in humidity than my Trijicon Mark III does....hurt my feelings... Great thermal, GLWS. Cowardice is the greatest pandemic that has ever affected mankind.
