360 degree northern lights.
Only seen that one other time.

Was the moon by Venus too?
I have only seen the Northern Lights just once, summer of ‘78, I was working at a biological field station in the Adirondack Mts. I would sleep out on the boat dock so I could listen to the loons. Northern lights, loons calling, incredible 😎
In the mornings I would wake up under the wool blanket and tree swallows would be sitting on the dock just a few feet away 🙂

Clouds all night, as expected. We did get a good look at Venus next to the moon, though. The clouds were only in the north.

Saw some @ 11:30, then went to bed. Sky was still not completely dark so a bit washed out. Moon above and left of Venus to the west. Castor and Pollux (constellation Gemini) above both. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/36RlOs4.jpeg) (phone pic)

Unfortunately for me, I had 100% cloud cover....
Luckily I have seen it a lot in Alaska
