Anyone have any experience or thoughts on this combo? Barnes provides precious little loading data, and none on this bullet. They don't even provide data for the 100TTSX. I have decent supplies of IMR4350, IMR and H4831, 4320 and Varget.

Would appreciate sharing any experience or suggestions. TIA

Thank you for posting that. But unless i’m misreading it, it has data for the 100gr TSX. Neither the 100 gr TTSX or the 101gr LRX are mentioned.

I think the data for TSX will work fine. Then only thing you get with the TTSX is maybe a one grain polymer tip
and with the 101 LRX (both) is an increase in. B.C., just start 10% below max and work up with a chronograph.

100 TSX with Hunter data works just fine for 100 TTSX in my 257 Montana and M70 Featherweight. I'm betting a 101 LRX would be very similar.

Not long after Barnes introduced the TTSX bullets, I contacted them since there was little data available for that style. The Barnes tech told me to use the TSX data for the same weight bullets in a given caliber. I doubt there is much difference with the LRX bullets as long as they are within a few grains of the same weight for a TSX or TTSX bullet. But why listen to folks on the Internet when it's easy to contact a ballistic tech at Barnes. Just pickup the phone and call them for free, here's their contact info off their website: For assistance, contact [email protected] or by phone at 800-574-9200.

Pursuit may be, it seems to me, perfect without possession.

should be minimal twist for this bullets given the reduced velocity of the cartridge. And yes the data for TSX will work fine
