Dude on the the recumbent is an idiot.

Like you, I am very respectful of those I share the road with. I try to avoid roads when I reasonably can and choose low traffic, low speed routes when I can.

A recumbent in traffic would often be obscured by other vehicles. On the open road, an alert motorist will have no trouble seeing them and responding appropriately.

Cept this is 100% of the time.

And unlike the self righteous ffaggots on peddle bikes I don't enjoy slowing people down on the highway.

The stupid runs very deep with some of these 'tards.

Surely bicycles are a horrible problem for you out in Cousinfugk MO with the traffic congestion you have there.

Let's compromise. You cyclists strap one of these to their ass like ag equipment is required on roads and I won't bitch about you anymore.

Those aren't required by law. I do wear bright colors. So unless your head is completely up your ass, which is asking a lot of this crowd, I should standout like a neon billboard.

Should be required. Think I'll start a petition. That way you won't have to dress like a cross-dressing golfer.

These guys, canopy road, double line, no place to pass, pretty typical where I live. After purchasing no less than six expensive bikes over the last decade, refuse to ride on the road to avoid being associated with these people! They make no effort whatsoever to be decent, narrowly avoided a head on attempting to pass doing 20 mph!

Share the road! You get that 6 inch strip right next to the center line.

The few folks in this thread who are willing and capable of thinking can probably answer that.

bicyclists belong on private bike trails they pay for. They do not belong on a public roads traveling much slower than the speed of traffic. Run em all over I say. See how close you can get before they freak out. Have a little fun with them. Maybe they'll go away.

We spend a lot of money in our are making roads wider for bicyclists but i never see any bikes there. What a waste of taxpayer money. Again 99.9% of people have to give special permission to the .1%.
