Like a lot of other small towns our town has a festival celebrating our “claim to fame.” Here it’s walleye fishing and the opener of walleye season after the spawning run on a tributary of the Saginaw River. One of our granddaughter's has my "Veterans for Trump" yard sign from the last election hanging on the ceiling in her bedroom.
