Does anyone know what the current Swarovski rifle scope warranty is? I have an early 90’s 1.5-6 that I was thinking of putting on a big bore. Thanks

Is there something wrong with it?
Swarovski tries to get out of warranty coverage as much as possible. They will use age, "abuse", or not the original owner as excuses.
Also, if you are not the one that is registered to the serial number of the optic, they will not repair it, without first calling the person on file with that serial number, for approval.
I sent them a scope with a cracked internal lens. They called and said they would replace the lens, but only if I paid for a new maintube (over 3/4 of the value of the scope at the time). I told them to send it back. Moved it down the road as is. A year or two later I got a call from them asking if another person rightly owned the scope that was sent for repair.

On March 17 I sent in an older, well used Habicht Nova 3-9x36 for service. The scope was functional but in need of cleaning, lubrication and replacement of the rubber eyepiece. Today I received notice of return shipping with no prior billing or request for payment. Will update when the scope arrives. So far so good.

I sent a Swarovski Habicht Nova 2.2-9x42 back in 2018, that I bought off of ebay and they rebuilt the entire scope to like new condition at no cost to me. They send a very detailed list of what they did and replaced on the scope.

Sent in an 80s (?) vintage scope with some elevation turret issues. Paid 140$ for the parts and they did a complete overhaul. One one I've had to pay for over the past 20 years. They used to swap out reticles for nothing. Their CS is some of the best IMHO...

Tech notes indicated that they "replaced spring, reverse system lenses & assembly, objective lens, and performed internal and external cleaning". All of the rubber is new. Additionally, they checked the scope for "range of adjustment, parallax, resolution, shock, focus uniformity and cleanliness of optics". There was no charge for the work. They certainly have my gratitude.

I dealt with Swarovski CS many times through the years and have nothing but praise for their service.

They treated me right, when I needed their help on one of their products. I was the original buyer.

They have excellent customer service from my experiences even in optics I didn’t buy new.

Like the “detailed description” someone mentioned. Wish I’d of saved the last Leupold response I got back on a scope I sent in for warranty. I think it was along the lines of “cleaned and readjusted.” That was on a brand new higher end scope with about 25 rounds through it.

I have sent a few thing back in the last 40 years... they were ALWAYS under promised and overdelivered. Even when it was MY FAULT. Great customer service.

Sent me an RGA with shipping label.
