I have read some good reviews on the brass starline is putting out and wanted to hear the consensus here.

I haven't really used much of the shouldered brass, but the straight wall stuff is fine. It does tend to run a bit heavier than some other brands, so capacity is slightly reduced, but lifespan has been good for me.

I'm using it for my CZ 527 in .223. I haven't had any issues with the brass so far. I haven't weighed it, but it probably is a little heavier. I use 25.0 grains of IMR 3031 and its compressed in WW brass, but the Starline cases seems to have less capacity because I can't hardly get the 25 grains in the case without dropping a few kernels.
The lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part!

A while back I tried some Starline for 243 and 308 Winchester. Both were on the thicker, heavier, lower capacity end of the spectrum of brass I've used for those two cartridges. I didn't mind that aspect, and for the 308 use it went together just like several established combinations in similarly built Lake City brass. The down side was the non-uniform nature of the neck walls, both in 243 and 308.
Like I said, it has been a while. Since then there have been reliable campfire members who have posted positive comments including mention of good neck walls. Maybe Starline upped their game some time after they made the batches of brass I got.

I've been running it in all of my creedmires since 2018. Works great, no complaints:
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I have used Starline brass now for a number of years for 45 long Colt and 450 Bushmaster. Zero issues and a great value.

I've used their 45 Colt brass to push a 325-grain bullet to nearly 1,400 fps in a 5-shot revolver built by David Clements. Someone over there knows what they're doing.
Buy with confidence.

I like Starline brass, but it’s not Lapua. For cheaper brass, I use Starline or Sig when I can get it.

Glad to hear that its generally well thought of. I just bought 1000 pcs of 30 Carbine, 41 Magnum and 45 AR and I'll order some 222 whenever its back in stock. I haven't used any of it yet but it looks good.

Much better than Hornady, Winchester and Remington. Not on par with Alpha or Lapua. It's good brass that's at a decent price point.

I’ve used it in multiple handgun cartridges as well as .223 bolt action ammo and 6.5 Grendel. I’ve had excellent results in all instances.
