Been dabbling with the idea of upgrading some of the glass I use for hunting and was wondering if anyone has had a chance to use one of these? https://mavenbuilt.com/products/crs-2-4-16x44-sfp

I'd also be interested to know what this compares to?? Like how does it compare to a V4 or VX5HD or the likes??

Better than a Bushnell 4200 or Zeiss conquest?

I have a number of elite 4200 scopes and optically the Maven is a touch better IMO. The wire reticle scares some away, but I have no problem with that. I also picked up a Maven 2-10-38 for a Bergara Mountain 2.0 in 6.5 PRC that I put together and like it as well! They seem like great folks to work with ! I know Fotis who posts a fair amount on the fire is using some as well. The thing I liked is they are fairly light wt. I have big heavy scopes for twisting turrets etc, but still most of my hunting is inside 350yards so I don't need all the wt. etc. Simple durable scopes are getting harder to find....the market is not as large as the bigger ones and FFP designs.

specs for the eye relief look pretty short on many of those scopes
the 2x10x38 looks like the same scope as was the Jap made Weaver V 2x10

I cannot speak to Maven scopes. I have a pair of their lower end binos and the ability to see well after hunting hours is very impressive. I had an eyecup that wasn’t threading in and out smoothly and they sent me two replacements immediately. I’m a fan. Would buy again.

I am like Jay, I don’t have any experience with their scopes but I do have 2 pairs of their binoculars. I ran onto them in Wyoming. I am very happy with their optical quality and performance so far. I have a C compact pair and a B 10x42. My next purchase is going to probably try their 2-10x38 scope. I would definitely recommend them.
