I really like your big flat top, wish I had the room for one like that. This grill has a smaller foot print 22 inch diameter, it's fun to cook on and works well for the 2 of us.

Saturday was Steak Fajitas night. Couldn't do this kind of cooking on a regular grill.

Love your hood 99s!! My set up is very similar to yours and I have been thinking of doing the same. The distance that they spatter grease is simply amazing! I degrease and power wash the vinyl siding a couple times during the Summer and it will be 10' away and 8' up the side of the house. Anymore pics you can share of it? TIA

I'll try to remember to get you some shots, over the long weekend & post Tuesday.

Yes grease splatter still, but decreased to the level, that I have not cleaned in 2 years.

Therefore, the pics should be telling !

Thank you, this flat top does a little splattering. Most of it gets caught in the grease ring but so far it hasn't been a problem. We'll see how bad it gets when I do burgers, that will be the real test.

It really is amazing how far it will go. I think part of it is wind due to the outside location. I never notice it when cooking but I regularly clean that window in the left of my photo and it is 5' from the griddle.

Add some bean sprouts and Asian hot chili paste to those fajita fixings during the last minutes of cooking and you'll have what a local joint around here called Mongolian grill. Good stuff.

I have 7 cast iron skillets and 6 dutch ovens but I didn't have a flat top grill. I did have the money though.

Sorry Mike (?), forgot about these yesterday !

Top of the deck capping & the top cedar trim are dirty, dirty, but the cedar board & batten is clean behind the flat top.

Deck siding, behind & below shows a little grease & the floor beyond the mats is also clean.

Like I said, for not cleaning for 2 years, I think it's doing OK !

Yes, it is Mike and thanks for posting those. I'm already looking for a hood to match our patio furniture.
