No but I love them. Mom canned them and made a casserole that was ramps, potatoes, country ham and cheddar cheese with I think mushroom soup.

Lucky to have buddy with about 40 creekfront hillside acres with 2 or 3 drainage on it. He's covered up with them. We make dip, ham and tater soup with them, and dry them and mix in when we make hot sausage. I usually pickle a few quarts every year to take to bear camp.

One of the most profound harbingers of spring as far back as I can remember….kids sent home from school because they reeked of leeks.
Read in one of the foxhound magazines once of a “ ramp dinner”. Pictured everybody getting together at a boat launch for pot luck. Took this Canadian border boy a while to figure out that “ramps” was southspeak for “ leeks.”
Wild turkeys love them .

Our asparagus is coming on now. Same here! Had some ants trying to take over in the Asparagus patch so I mixed in a little Harris Food grade Diatomaceous earth and that took care of the problem. All natural Food Grade and not the Filter commercial grade product. HS 58
