The Inter-State Commerce Clause has been without a doubt one of the bigger weapons used against the states and their populace. At least up until recently. At this point we have so much unconstitutional BS that it’s just one more brick in the wall.

Last I checked, one can still set the toilet valve to fill to whatever level they desire, and once there, all ya gotta do to dump the whole thing is hold the damn handle down. Like most things government mandates, non compliance is pretty simple if you aren’t utterly lazy or stupid.
Same with low flow shower heads generally. Just remove the restrictor… No. Low flow toilets have had small capacity tanks for years. The don't hold much water. Similar with spigots. They aren't Dad's spigot with a restrictor, the internals do not have the capacity to flow much water. A few years ago I installed a semi commercial Kohler kitchen faucet here. And it wouldn't work? WTF!🫨🤥😬😬😭😭😡😡😡😡😡😡 I finally tore it all apart, it has a brass tube that carries water from the valve to the rubber/spring pull down head. About 1/8" ID. You won't flow much through that. PS. It had a plastic one way valve in the tube, I removed it to increase flow. And suddenly the faucet worked. The next day I found one of those one ways on the floor, and figured out what the problem had been. Someone had put 2 one ways in that tube. One facing each direction! MFSOB*&%$$%@#^&?>()!!!!!

Some of this water and energy efficient crap is just that - crap. We have a water efficient clothes washer. The clothes come out with dry spots if we use any setting other than deep water bedding. They don't get very clean when they don't get wet. Clothes washers/dishwashers, that don't clean, electric stoves that take forever to heat, stoves same, Spigot that don't fill a pot, Let government set standards and that is what you get. It's a religion with these people, they are zealots who are blinded by their fervor. Appliances that don't work, E-cars that aren't as green as IC cars. Stooges! dont forget toilets that dont flush
